The Ei3030 is a versatile multi-sensor alarm that detects both fire and carbon monoxide. It contains three reliable sensors: a Thermistor Heat Sensor, an Optical Sensor, and an Electrochemical Carbon Monoxide Sensor. This combination provides superior protection, with clear visual indicators (FIRE or CARBON MONOXIDE (CO)) to show you which hazard has been detected. To reduce false alarms, the optical chamber has an integrated insect screen and a special dust compensation algorithm.
The alarm is powered by a 230V AC mains connection. In the event of a power cut, its built-in, tamper-proof lithium cells will provide a back-up power supply. These cells will last for up to three months if the alarm is part of a wireless RF network, or up to six months if it's a standalone unit or hard-wired. The AudioLINK feature allows you to acoustically download the alarm's status and parameters directly to your phone using the Ei Electronics app.
The Ei3030 can operate as a standalone device or be interconnected with up to 12 compatible Ei alarms and accessories, either through a hard-wire connection or wirelessly with the Ei3000MRF module. The alarm performs a self-check every 48 seconds to monitor its sensors, battery, and internal circuits, indicating any faults with a series of yellow LED flashes and chirps. A handy memory feature also uses a red flashing LED to let you know if the alarm has been triggered previously. When fitted with the Ei3000MRF module, the alarm can connect to the SmartLINK Cloud Portal via the Ei1000G Gateway, which allows for live monitoring, system updates, and alerts via text, email, or a push notification.
