Running costs depend on how you use the fire. On full heat, a 2kW electric fire uses 2kWh of electricity per hour, about the same as a standard plug-in heater. The flame effect on its own uses very little power, so you can enjoy the look of a real fire for just a few cent an hour.

Do electric fires need to be installed?
Most wall-mounted and freestanding electric fires simply plug into a standard socket, with no chimney, flue or gas connection needed. Larger inset and media wall fires may need a dedicated socket or hardwiring by a qualified electrician, so check the product details before you buy. Our experts can help.

Can I use an electric fire without the heat on?

What is the difference between inset, wall-mounted and media wall electric fires?

How much does delivery cost for an electric fire?
We deliver to any address in the Republic of Ireland. Fees depend on item size and are shown at checkout, and large items usually arrive within 5–7 working days. You can also choose free click & collect from our store in Thurles. Order before 11am, Monday to Saturday, to collect the same day.

Can I return an electric fire?
