Christmas BBQ Demo

BBQ expert Mark Doe is back with us again for a FREE Christmas themed BBQ demonstration in our garden centre from 1pm-3:30pm. Mark will cook an incredible Christmas menu completely on the BBQ, showing different techniques and recipes that will spice up Christmas dinner.

Mark will be cooking all the traditional favourites with a twist including rotisserie turkey, brussel sprouts with chorizo & parmesan, mince pies & so much more!!! Join Mark from 1pm & be inspired by the versatility of BBQ cooking. See full menu below:

• Rotisserie Turkey
• Brussel sprouts with chorizo and Parmesan
• Leek and potato soup with smoked mascarpone
• Brie and cranberry crostini
• Roast root vegetables with honey and sesame seeds
• Parmesan cheese straws
• Apple and mincemeat tarte tatin with brandy whipped cream

Wreath & Garland Decorating

The Irish Flower Whisperer - Roisin will be demonstrating how to create your own beautiful faux wreaths and garlands from 1-3pm, that you can use time and time again. Roisin will cover the basics in creating luxurious bows using our fabulous ribbons and decorations in store.

By the end of this demo you will be able to wire and attach decorations, create luxury bows and create/decorate your own wreaths & garlands. Roisin will also share her knowledge about colour schemes that work well together.

Storytelling, Colouring Station & Facepainting

We're delighted to welcome children's author Emer Conlon for two storytelling sessions of her new book from the Vroom-Town series - The Adventure of Santa & the Magic Truck Dust.

The story will be followed by a mini Q&A with the audience and a colouring station for children. Emer will start her first storytelling session from 12:30pm so bring along your little ones for a day out to remember.

We'll also have face painting on the day so there'll be lots to do in store for all the family.
